with handgun violations. this took place as authorities were in the midst of promoting responsible gun ownership. this involved two 12 year olds, both students here at deer park magnate. one of them brought ammunition to campus, found in his locker. they apparently made a deal to trade a 380 caliber for an x box of video game. he was found later in the boy's home trying to make the trade. this is another example of what can go wrong when weapons are not secured. the county is giving away free locks to baltimore county gun owners. >> responsible gun owners should use the gun safety lock. it costs a few dollars. in this case, we will give it to you free. any police station in baltimore county, run in, show them your

residence and we will give you a to three of them. please use these devices. >> they have 2000 on hand and they're being paid for by the baltimore county police foundation. the gun law program has been on the board since the school shooting of perry hall back in august. two weeks later, another student showed up with a loaded handgun at a middle school. county officials have been putting pressure on gun owners to do more. >> none of these were caused by owners who were just being careless. frankly, they were caused by owners who were being idiotic. >> folks, we need your to lockyer weapons up. -- locking your weapons of. if your children have access to you, then they have access to these weapons. >> in the deer park incident, it was legally registered and locked.

claiming he wanted to be killed by police. when they arrived, he refused to drop his gun. the trooper her opened fire is on routine administrative leave. police in montgomery county are trying to figure out how to avoid fell nine stories from a silver spring apartment building just after 3:00 p.m. yesterday where a woman says she found the child crying in a bush with no family in sight. they found the boy's family inside one of the apartments. he is listed in serious condition at children's hospital. police and child protective services are on the case. >> one thing you can say about last night's debate, that was not boring. vice president biden and congressman paul ryan traded barbs and quips all might but some said it also played a little with the truth. we have a fact check on covering some of the misleading and even

>> police are charging a 15- year-old high-school student with second-degree assault doctor caught on camera bullying. he was about to open up about his experience with the bullies in a tv interview when just before the cameras started rolling, three boys approached him and began hitting him and chasing him. police are now referring one of the teenagers to the department of juvenile services. >> a hormone replacement therapy company with ties to glen burnie is being investigated tonight after reports of disturbing side effects. hrc medical centers is based in tennessee but has a location in glen burnie. a national court has issued a

five years later, she will go before a judge in baltimore city courtroom. what she sat in my dining room every day and supposedly read the bible. >> this led to a grand jury indictment accusing her of abusing a vulnerable adults, assault, reckless endangerment. she is charged in the beating of a 90-year-old man under her care. he was naked and unable to defend himself. as refers to reported, his daughter installed a security camera out and after seeing the video turned over to police. she fled to kenya. they kept working on the case and were successful in gaining her extradition back to baltimore. she said very little. her plea? not guilty. the trial is set to begin and the victim has since passed away. his daughter is still seeking

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i would not want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, therefore i should not deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. this law does not force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and protecting all marylanders equally under the law. join me in voting for question 6.
